Consort Day

In support of Play the Recorder month, the Atlanta Recorder Society hosts a Consort Day every March, where recorder players of all ages and skill levels from around the region are invited to come and perform individually or as part of a consort.

The next Consort Day will be announced early next year.

If you and/or your group would like to perform, we would love to hear you play. We accept solos and groups of any size, as long as at least one person is performing on a recorder (sorry, no unicycles this year). Performances should be kept to 10 minutes or less. To register as a performer please contact Mickey Gillmor,  include the name of your group, the names of the people performing, the title and composer of your piece and/or pieces, and the approximate length of your performance. The deadline for registering as a performer is TBD.

Even if you do not wish to perform we would love to have you join us as the music is sure to be enjoyable and the performers will appreciate your support.
