It’s finally here! The 22nd annual workshop with early and newer music for Recorders, Brass, Viols, and other “early” instruments will be held Friday evening, January 23rd through Sunday morning, January 25th, 2026 at Dickerson Middle School in Marietta, GA.
It is sponsored by the Atlanta Early Music Alliance (AEMA) and the Atlanta Chapter of the American Recorder Society (ARS-Atlanta), and supported by regional members of the Viola da Gamba Society (VdGSA).
Faculty: This year our faculty will include Sarah Mead (viols), Pat Petersen (recorders), Jody Miller (recorders), Anne Timberlake (recorders), Holly Maurer (viols), Gail Ann Schroeder (viols), Brittany Salkill (Renaissance flutes), and Stewart Carter (brass and louds).
Workshop Format: The Workshop will open Friday evening with an all play session. On Saturday, we will have a variety of topic-based sessions, followed by an all winds session and an all viols session. We will close on Sunday morning with another all play session.
